*Notes about fit:

--We have many sizes, to ensure as close to an exact fit as possible. But the variability in the sizes is slight. You may fit into two sizes, with one being a little more snug. You should choose the smallest size you can comfortably fit into. An uncomfortably snug fit will result in a slower swim, and one which is less enjoyable as well.

--The sizes parameters above will work 4 out of 5 times. However, they occasionally will not work. Choose the best fit, even if it is not indicated by the chart. Body shapes and sizes differ. There is one Hawaiian Ironman winner in the male division who has fit best into one of our women's sizes, and one female winner of that race who fits best in one of our men's sizes.

--If you fall into the middle of a size listed above, realize that the most critical part of fit is how tight the suit is. If you are near the high end of the weight parameter, the shorter you are the more likely you may need the next size up, not the next size down. Consider two men who are 176 lb. One who is 6'2" and who is trim and fit will probably be able to fit into a Men's M. One who is 5'11" may actually be happier with a ML, since he will be a little bigger in the torso, and may be overly tight into a M. At a point this strategy will not work, as the suit may simply be too long. It is for this reason that we came up with our "short" sizes, designated by "sh" above.
